Feels good to have a long weekend ahead! ^^
K so I've been complaining to my mom about the weird/unreasonable/stupid stuffs that the staff @ school have been talking to us about.............................. And I realised that being a teacher is kinda pitiful...
Do these situations ring a bell?
If the teacher says something that's offensive during assembly periods....... Well that teacher is gonna get flamed very badly on fb/twitter/blogger etc. 活该！But still sad ah.
If the teacher's lesson is always very boring.... They get students that don't do homework and when they complain to HOD, the students are gonna hate him/her for that.
If the teacher's old and not married and has bad temper, students will gossip and say that 'cos her attitude and teaching sucks that's why still not married.
If the teacher just got married and comes to class and starts scolding the students, common mindset of students would be: "They must have had sex yesterday and it wasn't good." Or, "Wah just married then PMS so badly, the husband sad ah."
If the teacher is new, like just come from NIE and he/she screams at the class, students thinking = "Wah new teacher big what big!" From then on no good impression of him/her.
If the teacher wears clashing colours or has weird taste in clothings.... Girls (esp) will gossip amongst themselves and hola! Joke of the day emerged. Take special notice of that teacher's dressing from then on.
If the teacher in the past was quite big-sized, but suddenly after a long holiday slimmed down by alot, student will start buzzing among themselves: "Eh she go slimming centre ah? She go liposuction ah? She got depression ah?" etcetc.
If the teacher suddenly gets plump, typical student question: "She pregnant ah?" If unmarried, the question would be: "Woah what happened to her?"
If the teacher suddenly changes her dress sense to a more modern one, students will think:" Wah she trying to act young ah?"
If the teacher's too nice to the class, students also make fun of him/her and take advantage of them being all nice lovely.
So, I say be teacher very difficult ah! They get gossiped about almost everyday and some of them don't even know that they've become the joke amongst students. Wear wrong colours, married or unmarried, scold the class or don't scold the class, all also get gossiped by students. Teachers sad ah!
