How Christmas went in 2012

Hello!!! I hope everyone's have had a great Christmas!!! Mine was awesome and I'm still basking in the joy of this lovely festive season!!!

Don't you feel that Christmas is the only festival where even the most hateful and irksome person becomes all warm and gentle??? I always, always, always feel that Christmas has this power to make people wanna love others!

Today I'm gonna share about how my Christmas went!!

This year my sister and I broke a custom - We didn't set up the Christmas tree in the house!!! Just coz both of us were just too lazy :( I regretted not doing the mandatory on Christmas day :(

And since this year we didn't throw our usual barbecue party, both us us decided to plan a last minute makeshift Christmas party just for the four of us to celebrate Christmas!!

It was a very simple party: Read the cards written for each other the previous night -> Give out gifts -> Take picture with gifts at the backdrop -> Open gifts -> Photo session with backdrop -> Lunch!

Our last minute backdrop decorated on the sliding door of the balcony!

I named it "Santa's Warehouse" coz that's where all the (our) gifts are being stored at!

The sister decided that she wanted to be the emcee for the day! Look at that toothy smile!

Both of them after receiving their gifts... They got the most number gifts this time!

Two of us with our gifts!

Nice not our backdrop!!

With my dad - He's the happiest in the family on Christmas!

I told you!!! He rarely smiles this wide in pictures ^.^

When I was unwrapping my gifts!! See all the unwrapped gifts surrounding me!

Really like this picture taken with my mom and sis! We are showcasing all our gifts - Intricately arranged by my dad...

Taken during the mini photo shoot! I love the wrapping of that gift (coz of the big ribbon) so I kept it unwrapped till I'm done snapping pictures with it. Life of a camwhore.

This is my favourite shot!!! Can you spot it from the above picture???

And our mini Xmas party was a huge success!!!!! Though it was a really simple one but still everyone was happy with their gifts!!!

We were awarded with an extremely satisfying Christmas lunch :)

Had our feast at Empire State. The portions were HUGE.

I had Fish with Parmesan cheese stuffing and dad had Crab-fat pasta.

The fish was okay but I love the mashed potato more. It has this tingly cheesy taste that made me want to finish it more than the fish!!

My sister had the same thing as my dad and my mom chose a half rib set with fries.

The. Rib. Was. Humongous.

The bones of the rib after she conquered it. It was really huge!!!

Ordered the Empire State Boom Boom Supreme for dessert! This contains 7 scoops of ice cream + whipped cream + cocktail condiments.

Basically it's a tub of happiness!!! I have this soft spot for desserts in me ^-^

Taken before we tuck in! As you can see I just finished Instagramming it. *laughs*

And that concludes our feast!!! If you wanna have an extremely filling meal, you really should give Empire State a try!!! Guarantee that it will be your only meal for the day!!! The servings really are generous :)

OOTD - Dress: AMK Hub | Denim jacket: KL | Belt: Cotton On

Red ribbon hair accessory: KL

Used that in place of a Santa hat coz my mom gave ours away last year us knowing until this year's Christmas! :(

But it still emits that tinge of Christmas coz of the colour and material (It's made of some kind of fabric which feels fuzzy) so to me I'm actually not that far off the Santa hat *self-console*

So that was how my Christmas day went! It was such a fulfilling day (More towards filling) and I swear everyone on the streets were full of smiles!!! Christmas just makes everyone happier. It's like the most awaited season of the year!!! Apart from birthdays, that is.

I hope you guys enjoyed my entry on our mini party and I sure hope that you've enjoyed your own respective parties and gifts unwrapping yourselves!

How did your Christmas go? :)
