Haji Lane

Finally took a break from the books and made my way down to Haji Lane for a day out. It's my first time there, and man those little shop house are indeed special! A nice photo-taking spot with many quaint vintage objects on sale, though I still hate the fact that I'm short and stubby.

Chanced upon this little restaurant - bar along the lane and decided there and then to have our lunch there. Pardon me for my ignorance but there really isn't much food choices for a selection list to be produced at Haji Lane... Any recommendations if I ever drop by again?

I was pretty thrilled to finally step out of the house - dressed up, without glasses, in my Dr Martens and feeling as if I actually had a life. To my greatest horror as I now think back... I've been doing nothing but eating, sleeping, making my way to the library for mugging sessions, coming back home to my drama marathon and the cycle repeats.

I loved the little shop houses along the lane and thankfully it wasn't crowded or bustling with people that day, lovely enough for decent photographs. Here are snapshots of some of the art I saw; especially love the painting of the lady in black.

Had fun prancing and frolicking around while taking pictures for each other! Have I mentioned it was Aaron's 18th and this trip was meant as a birthday outing for him - Happy Birthday Bunny quit living in your well already!

Colours

I have an absolute sweet tooth, teeth, in fact.
