I guess I'm pretty much in love with this red floral dress of mine that I actually took the effort to try the look out with two different hairstyles. Which one do you guys prefer? Personally I like the ones with my hair let loose because under the sunlight it looks as if it has a gradient effect of chestnut brown.
On a side note maybe I should really start applying lip gloss so that I don't always look so pale in pictures.
Today I heard from my cousin that a friend of hers got into an internship program at Singapore Press Holdings under the lifestyle magazine sector. My immediate reaction was to pester her to let me get to know her friend. Have I ever mentioned this before? Little Miss Dandelion has finally found her calling in life. For the longest period of time I've always thought of pursuing a career as a journalist, and now that I've seen it happen to someone with my own pair of eyes, I knew I wanted, needed and have to be a lifestyle magazine journalist. I love writing, and I want people to be inspired by my work, as per how I am always inspired by many magazine writers. Perhaps that may be the reason why I've never given up on blogging as a hobby; I want to be able to write and share my writings with people around me.
It's an amazing feeling to finally be able to know where I'll be heading in life. I know the journey's gonna be rough, but I feel so excited about the prospects of my dream job just by thinking of it. In fact I'm more fired up to reach my goal and in all honesty and truth, I feel wonderful.
Even my everyday mantra by Conan O'Brien makes more sense now, "If you work really hard and are kind, amazing things will happen."
