Atop Mount Jungfrau (pronounced Young-frau) was probably the most active I've been in my entire Europe trip. After all the non-stop luxurious dining that we've been engaged in it's only healthy to get ourselves involved in (some sort) of exercise - And what kind of sport better than winter sports?
Got the chance to sleigh-ride and we really played ourselves silly. I even requested for a quick lunch (of the most divine rösti) at a nearby cafe just so that we could spend more time jumping about in the snow!
(We love this shot so much that my Mom actually framed it up)
Took a tram up Mt Jungfrau!
(This was taken after my genius sister suggested that we went down on the same sleigh together, on the steepest slope and guess what we crashed and I landed head first into the snow)
It was fun, all the same haha
Rösti
Sadly it wasn't snowing on Jungfrau and I had to play pretend (photo above haha) but hell that place was absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!! The skies were of a glorious shade of blue beautifully dotted and striped with cotton-candy clouds. My only regret was that we didn't manage to ski but instead sleigh-ride only but that's something that I can never, ever find in sunny Singapore so it's still a two thumbs up!
I would love to share more about Bern, our next stop but combined with this photoset the entry will be overflowing with too many pictures and I don't wanna shortchange either destinations' shots by cutting short on any. Bern is a gorgeous place and I promise an entry on that will be up soon!
Hugs and kisses,
