I could really use a wish right now ... D:

Okay , here goes .
Brace yourself ...
I'm so fed up about having short not-so-long legs already .
Reason ?
I need to stretchhhhhh my feet wideeeeeee-open when I'm marching , so as to keep up with the rest of the section and also to remain on the right foot .
Argh .
In addition , the SAF and Police band guys are like - whoosh .
Omg .
Not sure how am I going to keep up ):
Well, the only consolation is that ...
There's bound to be people who too wish for longer legs toooooo ! :D
-----
This is the most worrying issue that has been going on for the past few band practices.
I understand that many of the sec1s are becoming more and more tired of band, feeling that band is stressful , etc etc . But hey , ever asked yourself , " Who was the one who chose this cca ? " If one gets so tired the game easily , why not surrender and give up the slot to someone else ?
I counted the number of sec 1s today . 22 . Big number ? It's 22 out of 34 . That's like , half of the total number , plus 5 more . I appreciate the 22 people who came , you guys have perserverance , and I admire that . However, for those who're absent .. Or should I say " afraid to come " , you guys are SIMPLY COWARDS .
Well, from what I see , you don't appear because :
1. You're afraid of sweating .
* In terms of sweating , I look at it as literally sweating . Literally sweating refers to drills . Yes , drills are indeed tiring . Frankly speaking , I do not like drills too . But , drills are a element that make up today's Swiss Winds. We're well-known for being able to march AND play an instrument at the same time . Imagine, if our future generations are unable to march . Don't you find that embarassing for the NCC Command Band ? Also, being able to march and play an instrument at the same time is a thing to be proud about . Even if you don't like drills, at least make the effort to try ! The majors are not gonna murder you . You'll have to shoulder the responsibility of teaching your juniors next time in the future !
2. You're not happy with the seniors .
* From what I heard, the juniors are saying that the seniors are impatient with them . Even so, they're still YOUR seniors . Fate brought you guys together . If you're not satisfied with their attitude, tell them . I'm sure seniors of 14 and 15 years would not mind you telling them where to improve their attitude in helping YOU improve .
3. You're just plain lazy .
* This must the the WORST reason I can think of . I do not deny the fact band is indeed very taxing and time-consuming . Yes ... So what ? You're the one who chose this cca, so you make sure you live up to your choice . If you choose to skip band sessions just because of your laziness and the stupid reasons of " Oh it's too tiring / Oh it's taking up too much of my time / Oh I'm too tired to wake up early in the morning " , it just proves that you have poor decision-making skills .
It simply saddens me when I look at the attendance list . I believe the BLG and other seniors are too disappointed . Even the sec4s who passed out are feeling that the efforts that put in to train you guys before they left are going down the drain. Don't you guys feel ashamed ? Try putting yourself in your seniors' shoes. It's really frustrating to see absent members every band practice .
What matters most now is ...
Do you guys even have a conscience ?
I don't think I need say more .
