Dear daddy,

I know this year has been a rather bad year for both of us. Because of my results, you've often gotten into fights and arguments with me. I don't blame you for that. We're both very hot-headed people, and we both can't stand other people saying stuff that we do not like to hear. So it's really not hard for you to know that two likes actually repel. But in the end, everything done- all the scolding, constant motivational talks, etc are actually all for my own good; my future. You're kinda like dark chocolate; goodness deeeeeeeeeep down inside.

Franky speaking, I've ever had thoughts on giving up on studying. But because of you, I pushed on. I didn't want to disappoint you by not being able to enter at least a JC. So I pushed. Although I don't say/show it, deep down inside, I really want to do you proud. From primary to lower secondary, I've always been able to produce resutls that you expect from me. However, ever since upper secondary, I kinda lost the drive to study 'cos I wasn't producing the results that both of us expected. Because of this, you greatly lowered your standards for me - to at least get into a JC. I've often argued with you over this issue, but really, deep down inside, I want to do you proud.

I just wanna say, no matter how rebellious I am, no matter how I much I like to go against your sayings, no matter how old you and me get, no matter what happens, I'll always be your Daddy's Little Girl.

You've only one chance in a lifetime to celebrate your 16th Father's Day, hope you have enjoyed yourself today!
