Universal Studios Singapore

As you all know, I've already been to Japan's Universal Studios (http://chelseeaaaaa.blogspot.com/2010/12/japan-part-5.html) so I wasn't really interested in Singapore's one 'cos everyone has been telling me that after going to Japan's USS, Singapore's one would seem kickless.

It's true, Singapore's USS was significantly smaller than Japan's one, the rides were much less interesting and the waiting times for the rides were much longer. However, I've to thank god for the amazing weather that day; there was a slight drizzle, but other than that the weather was really cooling.

Had lunch at Vivo City's The Chicken Rice Shop!

See the globe?~~ So many people there like hard to get a nice shot ):

First stop in: Madagascar boat ride!

While waiting for a long 60minutes.... Penguins spotted!

With Melman, Marty, Gloria & Alex :)

And then we went to board the...

Enchanted Airways! (That's the only rollercoaster ride that I dared to take heh)

Prohibited items!

Shrek 4D!

Magestic castle the show was held in. The show was one of the better attractions in the theme park :)

Pretty crown outside the castle!

Now you know whre to find your Happily Ever Afters!

Lost World: An adventure 65 million years in the making :)

The Canopy Flyer which looked interesting from below... But needed a waiting time of 80 minutes LOL.

So during that time my dad entertained himself by taking shot with the mascots! I want Puss In Boots too! ):

Then we carried on to Ancient Egypt. The other ride in Lost World was closed down for maintenance ):

Guess who took the Mummy Ride and came out undead? Not me.

While waiting for my sis... I saw the Mummy and got squeezed by him!!! My dad say it was because the Mummy see me cute and small and fat and go squeeze my head ._.

I'm still bored so...

Heh I'm not bad already! I reached the knee already!

Made it just in time for the water stunt show @ Waterworld.

Before the start of the show.

Gah. Felt rather sleepy during the show 'cos EVERYTHING was the same as Japan's water stunt show. Meh. The only thing that benefited me was that I could understand the language ._.

Guess who took the Battlestar Glalactica rollercoaster @ Sci-Fi City? Not me neither ):

After Sci-Fi Cty, the day was getting darker, so we took this opportunity to walk the the Hollywood Street to enjoy the pretty lightings that lighted up in the dark :)

Yellow taxi~ I look skinny here leh! ^^

Chanced upon Marilyn Monroe! But don't look like the real MM leh ):

The sexy sports car lookalike outside some fastfood restaurant. Weewooweep!

Looking silly with Uncle Sam's hat!

Mummy and Daddy looking silly as well~

Frankenstein!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Missed the fireworks 'cos our feets were dead tired and I was desperately complaining/finding a place to rest my poor feet. Even though I walked in Converse sneakers... but the feet were reallyyyyyyy aching already ):

Aunt May treated us to this bar-restaurant Big Easy, where she had a friend working as a chef there!

The ambience was cool, but the service was meh. We wanted a window seat but none was available. Fortunately, a couple sitting at one of the window seats were leaving and they called for the bill. We told the countergirl of our choice and she told us to take a seat at another table nearby while they cleared the table. So we followed her directions and waited... for freaking 20minutes. 20 minutes just to collect a bill? Kinda ridiculous ah! After that we still had to wait 10minutes for the people to clear the table. I understand that people tend to tae things slow and easy @ a bar, but this rate is really too slow already ah! :/

After dinner, dropped by Candylicious and saw this gigantic chocolate! Nomnom

My jar of candies. Heh :)

Ending my USS trip with the biggest Hershey chocolate!! ^-^

The Verdict: Singapore's USS was kinda meh. I might be a little biased at first because of everyone's words, but really, after experiencing it myself, I still find it inferior as compared to Japan's one. Probably because a lot of the rides were rollercoaster rides and I daren't take them, so I found it rather boring as compared to Japan's one ): But can't blame it ah, Singapore land space small, got USS good enough already ah! :)

And if you think I forgot about the face-throwing video I mentioned about in my previous posts...

I didn't :)
