Updates: Esperanza 2012, guarantee-good-results cake from Mr Choo, Cross Country @ Marina Barrage + Army Open House 2012 + Men in Black 3 :)
I came home yesterday feeling all tingly and excited inside 'cos it's finally the holidays and that the last day of school ended on a really happy note - a touching comedy of Men in Black 3 with the awesomest people in school at Nex.
The moment I stepped into the house I ran to find my mom and immediately started recounting to her about what happened during the day and I just went on and on and on blabbering non-stop so much so that she looked at me with a straight face, and told me, "You're like a noisy fat sparrow."
I believe she was reminded of how Captain used to bug her for food when I wasn't around by chirping non-stop till she had to give in to it. It's okay, Captain's my darling little birdie, so it's obviously normal that it'd be adorable, just like me :) *Self-consolation*

Guitar Ensemble had its first debut concert, Esperanza!, at Republic Poly - The Republic Cultural Centre last Sunday.

I met Char at Woodlands before heading towards TRCC together!
We had two choices - to reach TRCC at 7.30am for the seniors to apply makeup for us, or report at 8.15am with applied makeup. I chose the latter, duh. But we were still late all the same...
I was quite surprised that we had to apply makeup even though we're gonna be sitting at the back of which I was quite certain that I was bound to get blocked (happens at every band concert, so I'm used to it) and Swiss Winds never once required us to apply makeup for our concerts, so I only had on very light makeup - similar to the one my mom did for me for prom.

The makeup isn't quite obvious in the rest of the pictures except this one :'(

Shot of the ensemble before the concert begins!
The concert was a success, I would say. Boo to you guys who didn't come!
Here are some pictures taken before and after the concert!!!

With Charlene :)

And my walking happiness Shawn :)))))))))))))
Special thanks to my parents and Mj who specially made time to come down to support me! I hope the 10 bucks wasn't of waste to you guys since I was on stage for "5 minutes" as quoted by Shawn's friends ahahahhaha.

Mj!!!!!!! Thank you so much for your rose! I appreciate your presence really much!

I always love pictures with my parents!
And behold the prettiest picture of all............

Your ever lovely me. HAHAHAH
Oh and if you guys followed my CoC, I uploded a picture of a bouquet of flowers that was given to me by a mysterious person! I still have absolutely no idea/clue from whom did that bouquet of flowers came from. I shall take it that I have a secret admirer then. Thanks for the flowers anyway, they were lovely!
On Thursday, Mr Choo bought us a chocolate cake which he proclaimed to be the "guaranteed-good-results" cake to cheer us on for myct, which would start right after the June Holidays :'(

It's just a regular Polar cake but how many PD Tutors actually go this extra mile for their form classes???!!!! *Touched*

I look terrible here but gah the girls look great so I shall post this up all the same.
Mr Choo: "Now that you've eaten the cake, make sure you guys get good results!"
And on Friday, the official last day of school, I welcomed a lovely morning with a 3km walk at Marina Barrage, of which we had to report at a place near Stadium station at 7.30am....................

Pretty sunrise behind us!
So yes, it was supposed to be a cross country whereby people run.... But the girls and I walked the entire 3km route while singing songs on the way. I was most definitely not willing to spoil my morning feeling all sticky and sweaty, and true enough we ended up at the finish point without even sweating much as compared to PE :)))
After the cross country we proceeded on to the Army Open House 2012.

Random shot of something, I hope haha.

The sun was so glaring I had problems opening my already tiny eyes for a photo, resulting in the =~= face.
Accompanied Yy and Zc to camp in the canteen during the free and easy time, and the place was like a air-conditioned pasar malam! I however had this little tinge of regret in me 'cos Shawn told me there was actually a boat ride of some sort which I'd love to try but laziness got the better of me........

Nevertheless I bought cotton candy which was as big as my head!! Day instantly made :)

Dafuq screwed up eyes again -_-

And we officially ended the semester together as a class with a class photo yay!
Then on we proceeded to Nex for lunch and a movie, which was already mentioned - Men in Black 3! I suddenly remembered by conversation with Zach and although I was quite annoyed with that guy's words (as usual), I realised that he actually made sense...
Me: "What's Men in Black? Is it a horror movie? Is it nice?"
Zach: "You don't know MiB??!! Have you been living under a rock all this while?!!"
Me: *Giving him the -.- face*
Zach: "Oh wait even if you lived under a rock you should've known about Men in Black!!"

And he was right. The show rocked! 4/5 stars to an action-packed, comedic and touching storyline all in one!
Sadly we booked our tickets late so we had to sit at like the second most front seats. I enjoyed the show thoroughly, nonetheless :)
And that was the absolutely perfect way to end off the semester. I went home feeling super satisfied and thankful for my class! Telepathic hugs and kisses to all who've loved, spoilt and made me laugh!
Time flies and is most definitely still flying. School will be reopening before we know it, and by then it'll be midyears. Ahhhhhh I need more willpower and determination to push myself to work hard!!!!! Enjoy your holidays people!
