Marina Bay Sands: Lunch @ Rise and Skypark tour

Hello! Life has been busy and kinda messed up so blogging has been pushed backwards on my priority list, sadly... But hey hello I'm back!!

Today's entry is gonna be on the lunch I had last Sunday at MBS's Rise and even had a chance to tour the Skypark! (It's gonna be a picture-spammed entry - you were warned.)

Outfit of the day. Check out my detachable collar!!!!! :D

With the sister her eyes are so pretty why is life so unfair

And here I am, at MBS's Rise!

The entire place was so bright and happy and filled with well-dressed people... I felt so blessed that my granddad was willing to give us a treat at a 6-star rated rstaurant.

The dessert counter!! I swear I ate like 893027519027587183575 calories worth of desserts. #nowonderimfat

So as usual, my first round around the buffet spread was to snap shots of the freshly displayed food before they get messed up by the other people. I should just start a tumblr on food I have like tons of photos on food. You can check them out in my blog archive :)
Seafood counter
My tummy's always available for sashimi anytime :)
Was I too obvious in expressing my joy? Heh ^^
My mom looks elated too!!

I feel like eating all over again.

If only society isn't superficial and that people loved with their eyes closed... I won't mind being fat.

OKAY I KNOW I'M ALREADY FAT BUT OKAY NEVERMIND AYE.

Everyone's happy when there's food!

Oh and since there was the Star Awards going on at MBS area, we saw Belinda Lee and the Aunty Lucy guy eating at Rise too. If it was Joanne Peh I would have gone up and requested for a shot with her.

Sidetrack: She won the Best Female Actress Award! I like her so she deserves it heh :)

Rise's buffet is comparable to Shangri La's The Line... The food there are most definitely delicious and gets one flowing with happiness but I still prefer Shangri La though.

They have outdoor seats which were unoccupied so I went out with my dad and sis to get more shots outdoors!

He wants it taken that way ._.

We were just prancing around and furiously taking pictures ahahahaah.

Got a pretty self-shot :)

After we completed (not exactly completed because it was impossible to try everything there!!!) the satisfying meal we made our way up to the SkyPark.

Excited for it 'cos I've never been up there before :))) Plus the weather was lovely that day!!

Tickets cost $20 each, btw and fyi. It's actually just walking one round and looking down at the roofs Singapore's famous architectures. But the place is good for gorgeous scenic shots :)

Such a poser haha

Pretty awkward shot 'cos this was taken at the souvenir counter and many pairs of eyes were staring :/

There was this one guy who didn't know we were taking the photo and just walked right in and stood there. My dad politely asked him to excuse himself for a minute to let us finish taking the photo and guess what he did? He stared at my dad, glared slightly at us and moved away with a black face. Dafuq? What's wrong with just stepping three steps away to let others get a picture. It's not like we're asking him to exit the place completely.

Most probably a Singaporean from his looks and dressing; even tourists were much nicer. There was this lady from Myanmar who offered to help my family take a photo when she saw my dad setting up the timer mode on the camera. AND she even gladly offered her help if we wanted a second shot somewhere else. It's hard not to judge, huh.

Scenic shots

I was so afraid that I would drop my phone 'cos I had to stretch my hand out of the border to snap the photos... It was 57 storeys high and I was already trembling a little when I moved closer to the glass borders to take pictures.

AWW this shot is super sweet!!!

My dad requested for it but sadly both the folks don't have sharp noses so the tips aren't touching... Or maybe because my dad's big belly is in the way. HAHAH

That's him trying to show that he's excited.

Floating platform behind :)

Ending with the family shot :)

It was a lovely day out and I went hope feeling so blessed and satisfied. Even though I had a history test the next day but my good mood gave me motivation to at least study a little for it. I hope I didn't fail too badly though :)

And I sincerely hope for friendlier Singaporeans.
