Switzerland, Switzerland.
Our first stops were Mount Titlis and Old Town Lucerne, and it was only a matter of time before I fell right in love with the scenic and serene cities.
My only regret was developing the most annoying cold sore at the side of my lip on the night before we departed Milan, and I woke up all swollen-lips and grouchy. It resulted in me having this awkward smile which got me even grumpier and in the end I denied photographs altogether.
But anyway, I still managed a few - Mostly with showy poses in a vain attempt to cover up my cold sore. We ascended Mount Titlis and hell, the Alps were the most majestic mountains that I've seen - Literally any shot could be made into a tourist postcard. The breathtaking feeling is different from what you get to see in magazines, or even on videos; seeing and experiencing the Alps live was really da bomb.
Mount Titlis was indeed titillating. I couldn't miss the pun on this one ha ha ha
(I'm in a freaking glacier!!!)
IT'S SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stopped by the local cafeteria for lunch and take a look at how dry my skin is. I'm guessing I have slightly sensitive skin, considering how mine turned out to be in the worst condition despite slapping on tons of moisturiser every other hour :'(
Rumoured to have amazing hot chocolate, this shot has gotta be my favourite because that look is literally the genuine look of I NEED WARM DRINKS NOW NOW NOW
Successfully conquered Mount Titlis, and we head over to Old Town Lucerne for a leisure stroll. I love such strolls, with amazing scenery and tranquility no one could ask for more. If only the cold sore didn't fall upon me ughhhhh :'(
How I wished I woke up to such picturesque views everyday. I'll die contented, for sure.
Okay, so if it's anything you have got to get home from Switzerland (apart from the watches, that you have to get too) it's Swiss Chocolates. And the best part is...... Chocolate shopping could be done ANYWHERE, in any random convenience store that you could find, and at any random flavour because it'll still taste good all the same. I can vouch for that!
We actually got chocolates from all sorts of brands - Ranging from the popular ones like Lindt to the really unknown ones that came in a huge pack and were at 50% off. I packed a variety of them into little souvenir packs for my friends and they liked every one of them. Some even commented that the ones from the unknown brands tasted best!!!
My kind of shopping
Star buy I love love love this so much!!!!!!!!!! Even the packaging is adorbz I wish I could go back to Lucerne to get like twenty more packs
Seems like Coke's on sale......
And the perfect reaction to it
Switzerland definitely is on my list of countries-to-visit-again, and definitely in the top choices of my future honeymoon country. Everything is so clean and systematic there; the people are friendly and the food's amazing - I can't wait to get back there.
With love,
