I'm posting this now 'cos I realised that there's band tmr and I need to update the on the HK trip before I leave for Japan ... in 3 days.
Ocean Park was the first stop the on the second day ^^
Side note: If you're looking for more thrilling rides in HK, Ocean Park's the place for you! Disneyland's more for chickens....... Like me :D
Ocean Park band the first thing we stepped in. Nice quartet.
The entrance which we were at didn't really have much rides, and apparently rides were what we were looking for, and thus we took the cable car up ^^
The ride up took us as long as 20mins or so, and the only thing besides
Finally, we reached the top and this was where I spent my first HK dollar on :
Try-your-luck booths!!!!!! I got Kenny to play this Nerf gun game for me (obviously I paid for the games) and he won the little piggy (in picture) for me! Adorable much. ♥
I guess the game was really easy to play, c'mon it's just shooting at targets and you can actually stretch your arm out to get a better and closer shot. Tons of Swiss Winds members played it and got prizes. My piggy aka NiuNiu is lying beside me now (:
While the other guys went off to take the roller coaster... Chickens went to take the Ferris Wheel.
This Ferris Wheel's not like other kinds of ferris wheel. This one does not stop at the very top for the people to have a whole view of Ocean Park. It just keeps moving at this speed which was considered rather fast for a Ferris Wheel O:
No I definitly DID NOT sit for this ride. I mean just by looking at it sends a shiver down my spine already... Salute those who actually took this for more than 5 times.
After which half of the band coincidently met up and took the Viking together. Viking's the only summit ride that I dared to take in my entire life (until Disneyland.) Everyone was screaming out well wishes for the upcoming competition (:
We splitted up after that and I visited the Atoll Reef. The one and only thing caught my eye was this :
JELLYFISHES THAT COULD CHANGE COLOUR!
Yeah right. The coloured lights are just to show you that the jellyfishes are translucent. But they're really pretty so who cares if they can really change colours or not. Heehee.
Time's almost up so we took the Ocean Park Express back down to the main entrance. Pictures below are just random ones taken on the way down.
Second and last programe of the day would be the Band Exchange Programe with HK Chinese Women's Club College.
Section Peektureeeeee!
Note: This is definitly not a girl's school 'cos there are guys in it. O.O
The people there are super friendly and hospitable! I mean, when the just coach arrived the the school's main entrance, all of their band members rushed out to HELP US CARRY OUR INSTRUMENT CASES to the hall. They would just smile, and carry your instrument up for you. I mean, how nice can people get these days? If it was me, I wouldn't really care so much, but yeah. (Y) to those people yo.
Dinner after band exchange and lights out. Tired out, as usual.
P.S/ Carrying on on Day3 maybe tonight. Day 3 is when Swiss Winds parades @ Disneyland, so look out for it ! ^^
