You might have already caught glimpses of my new kicks - Who would've thought I'd bring bling back into my wardrobe?

So... Introducing my latest pair of loafers by Y.R.U added to my shoe collection!!!

Just when I thought we're all over bling, Y.R.U had to step in (haha get the pun) and get me all head over heels (more like heels over head haha another pun there I'm totally rocking this) with their Y.R.U Lowf in Black Gem. I actually had my eye on them before my big As on Solestruck before, but decided that I could wait for it to go on sale before purchasing it, because *whispers* that is how Solestruck works you've gotta wait. it. out.!!! Then it came, thirty percent off and I decided once again that I could practice my patience by hanging on to it till my exams were over, but fat hope, apparently they got all snagged up on the second day of sale and all I was left with was zilch.

Heartbroken, no, but disappointed, definitely yes, I mean, I couldn't possibly let something as gorgeous as that go without even putting on a proper fight. So, right after I got my first salary I flipped the entire internet upside down and eventually found a seller with a brand new pair of Lowfs and was willing to ship to Asia without overpriced shipping charges. *cough*Amazon*cough* Gladly I had those shoes purchased over Storenvy, and they finally arrived at my doorstep after two months of floating across the world from Vancouver.

One thing about the loafers is that they fit big, so do size down if you're intending a pair for yourself! I got mine in US 7.5, half a size smaller than my usual US 8 (EU 38) because reviews on it state that the cut was less true to size compared to other models/brands, but I didn't want to take the risk and go a whole size down, so I went down half a size instead. It turned out half a size too big for me (another smart alek moment) but fortunately I could still walk comfortably in them, as if they were really to my size.

More details about the shoes: It is made up of synthetic suede and has a two inch heel, with cushioned soles and rhinestones detail.

The gems are perfectly symmetrical on both shoes and they kinda shimmer in the dark. So mega pretty to look at I just want to have them on my feet all day long!
