Yes to monochromatic flora and yes to long skirts that sashay at your ankles. I'm hardly ever a fan of monochrome mode, but I got this crop top right away the moment I saw it. A different take on the usual floral prints - There's something really intriguing about black and white prints still looking really rich and vivid and that's what I absolutely adore about this top. I paired it along with all-time-favourite maxi skirt, in midnight blue (a rare choice of colour coming from me) and ended up with an outfit that looks so classic, yet so addictive that I decided that I wanted to wear it again the next day. I guess stepping outside your comfort zone once in a while isn't too bad after all - I used to always stick to prints in warmer and more neutral hues, like the reds and whites (how patriotic) but I guess cooler hues are now making a comeback in my wardrobe!
