Travel Diaries: Paris

Oh, Paris.

Our last stop of the entire Europe trip - Paris - probably put the most gorgeous full stop to my thus far most amazing wanderlust journey. I've been wanting to visit Paris for the longest time ever, and finally, for real, I get to admire the Eiffel Tower for an entire day. For the thousandth time I gushed, Isn't it beautiful? as we romantically sailed down River Seine, as we peered through binoculars on the Top of Paris, as we stopped right in front of the most magnificent steel structure I've ever seen. I saw it in the night, where it was glistening gold, I saw it in the morning, against the backdrop of the cloud-dotted skies, I saw it in the evening, all murky and mysterious and each time I see it I sigh at how wonderful it must be to be able to see one of the world's seven wonders everyday.

Why hello there, dream come true

I would say being in Europe felt almost magical; I mean, I still do feel nostalgic about that beautiful place once in awhile despite being a whole thirteen hours away from it. Europe sure was amazing - even right till the very last minute. Where else would I be able to taste genuine gelato and freshly baked macaroons in Christmas markets? I would've wailed countless times at why wasn't I born French - or Italian - or Swiss, but I guess there is a certain kind of beauty and appeal that only travelling could shower us with. This isn't the end of Europe, and I'm so stoked at potential trips to other parts of it - Germany seems like a good idea. Wait, so is the Czech Republic. Wanderlust is definitely something extremely enticing, and exciting, and it has made my memories (and hard drives) an even more valuable treasure cove than it already is. Now that, is what I call a real treat.

So much love,
