Okay, so all week I've been munching on what I crudely term as rabbit food - also most healthily known as salads. Mine consists of only lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes, sometimes a boiled egg... Not much of a salad, but okay you get the point. Partner-in-crime would be wholemeal sandwiches, which has to contain some form of meat because being the carnivore that I am I tried going without meat for one day and I ended up having to take double portions. I've been experimenting with different recipes, but really, there is only so much you can do when you only have a mere fifteen minutes prep time for lunchbox packing every morning. By far plan-clean-eating has been going by relatively smoothly, and I must say I'm pretty darn proud of myself.
As an add-on, for the first time in my life I actually took grocery shopping seriously - I hardly ever step into supermarkets or any other kind of market for that matter - And if I do it's probably just to grab a couple of items that I desperately need. Most of the time I'd just ask the sales people for the aisle that my goods are located at, and I do the grab and go. So, for the first time ever, I made a checklist of what I wanted and realised how bad of a grocery shopper I am. I can't find the lettuce. / Do you think they sell lettuce? / Should I just ask someone and get it over with? / God where are the lettuce - Oh there they are - Wait, are these lettuce or cabbage? And that mental conversation repeats itself for the ten over items that I had to get. In the end I did three good rounds around the entire supermarket and managed to successfully get all my groceries. Am I a potential housewife yet?
Complimenting the clean lunch diet would be a lemon a day. I've actually tried out the lemon water regime but results were few and far, probably because I dunked one slice of lemon into like one whole litre of water - Gave up on it after a month. So... After snooping around the net I've decided to intensify and concentrate my lemon water intake; according to health websites a lemon a day is most ideal so there you have it. Half in the day, half in the night. Consuming lemon water has supposedly many health and beauty benefits - Weight loss (main objective), acne-clearing (second objective), teeth-whitening, boosting of immune system, aiding digestion, cleanses our body etc etc. Sometimes I wonder why do I suffer by drinking sour stuff all day everyday but I guess it gets better once you get used to it? And also if you stir in a small scoop of honey with it - Warm lemon water isn't too bad tasting. Beauty comes with a price; having clear skin automatically makes you look 70% better. I have 99 problems and size / skin probably constitutes to 98 of them. It's like lemons are all powerful - When life gives you lemons, you freaking grab them and make lemon water with them.

Okay, enough about my beauty regime - Gonna check back in with you guys on my progress probably a week or two later? I've also recently got my hair treatment done, gone are the dry and frizzy ends caused by chlorine in the swimming pool. They're finally growing out too, ever since my valiant decision to have three whole inches cut off due to the outrageous split ends and extremely unkempt look. I love my curls, but sometimes I wished I had my straight hair back; yet I like it when my hair has a little more volume - It's this unnecessary love-hate relationship with permed hair, I mean, white tigers are going to be extinct really soon but here I am worrying about... Hair.
And oh my god, mega stoked for the latest X-Men installation that's coming up - Finally, finally, finally!!!!! Been waiting for it for so long since X-Men: First Class and I really want the poster up in my room!!! I take every opportunity to shamelessly pose with those mega sized promotional posters.. Trust me if I could bring them home I would. Do you guys actually read my entries when there are long paragraphs like these??? If you don't just know that I caught The Amazing Spiderman 2 and teared up so many times and I probably can never accept Mary Jane Watson as Peter Parker's girlfriend. Ever.
Bye sweethearts!
