Esemtan / got all skin types covered

It's such a shame that people with dry or sensitive skin have to be extremely aware of the products that they use - it can't contain certain ingredients, it must contain other kinds of products and more importantly... They can't have fragrance. The thought of it is just tragic - I mean, everyone wants to smell good after a bath, or even after a simple hand wash, right?

Founded in 1889, Esemtan is a skin care brand that pioneers in modern hospital hygiene and is internationally recognised by more than 70 countries. Their products are all mildly scented but are still gentle and suitable for use on dry and sensitive skin types. That said, people with normal skin could also use Esemtan products because they're just that light on the skin!

Products are dermatologically tested before being released into the market, so you can be sure that they safe for use, even on children and elderly skin.

The Esemtan Wash Lotion is literally a one-stop wonder. It is mildly scented, but still suitable for all skin types. It is soap-free as well and is made of a pH skin-neutral formula. If you're wondering, soap-free cleansers work the same way as any other soap, just that they're made of milder ingredients that do not scrub away your skin's natural oils.

Plus, you can use it for your hair, face and body - basically it's a refreshing all-in-one wash that's really convenient! (This came at a really good time, now I don't have to lug around different bottles of shampoo and body soaps to camp!)

Use it as per a normal wash - soap, lather and rinse. Ever since I discovered that I had mild eczema on my right palm, I've been extremely conscious about using hand soaps because sometimes certain soaps react with the eczema and the area ends up really itchy after washing. Not anymore though, since the Wash Lotion contains Allantoin which reduces skin irritation and support skin's natural moisture. Say hello to squeaky clean hands!

Nothing beats slathering on moisturiser after a good bath, and that's what the Esemtan Skin Balm is for! It contains oil and moisture so that your skin kept soothed and tender after showers and Urea, to maintain skin moisture balance, rehydrate dry skin as well as increase the suppleness of your skin! Urea is found naturally in young and healthy skin, and plays a really important role in keeping our skin moisturised.

Once again, you can literally apply the skin balm anywhere that you feel might need moisturising - for us girls it's definitely hands! Unlike most moisturisers, the Esemtan Skin Balm is light and has a more watery texture as compared to the usual creamy ones. As a result, it is rapidly absorbed into the skin, which makes it really convenient as a daily moisturiser for general skin care.

As a rule of thumb, adopt the three-minute routine: Apply moisturiser onto your skin within three minutes of your nightly cleanse and morning rinse. That's the time when your skin absorbs moisture most rapidly and effectively!

Especially for people with dry and sensitive skin, enough of not being able to use skin care products with fragrance! No one should be deprived of scented soaps when there is Esemtan - all products are made to prevent skin irritation, and maintain supple skin for people of all ages.

Prices are at $19.75 for 500ml / $35.30 for 1L (Esemtan Wash Lotion) and $20 for 500ml (Esemtan Skin Balm). Products can be purchased at all authorised Esemtan pharmacies - Guardian, Watsons, Pink Beauty, Beauty Essential and NHG.
