Breakfast and saw Andy Lau. YAH RIGHT. It's just some Japanese waiter LOL.
First stop : Asakusa.
Asakusa is a popular probrably one of the oldest landmark in Tokyo. It has many backstreets, lined with old buildings that sell traditional items from kimono to hand-made combs.
With the most supposingly good-luck joss sticks (:
First you wash your hands with spring water at the Dragon's Pool. Then you purchase these joss sticks. After burning them, stick them into the joss stick bowl and try to use your hands and cup and direct the smoke to yourself. This ensures good luck for you (: I got super kiasu and inhaled so much good-luck smoke till my throat hurt ):
The two big lanterns on the sides symbolises Japan.
At the backstreets, nothing bought 'cos it was early in the morning and stores were not fully open yet. (y) this picture 'cos I look good. Heh.
Next up, TOKYO DISNEYLAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm looking forward to this the most for the whole Japan trip. 'Cos everyone's been telling me that Japan's Disneyland is a MUST GO place in Japan and if you did not at least take a picture of it @ the entrance you have not been to Japan. So yes, Disneyland !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Christmas themed Disneyland. Best ♥
Familiar spot ? Took a picture of the Flower Mickey @ HK too (:
Okay, this wolf (no idea of its name) unwillingly let us take a picture with it at the entrance. Unfriendly much.
I COULDN'T FIND THE MICKEY MASCOT AT ALL !!!!!!!!!! No affinity with Mickey; I lost the chance too in HK ):
I didn't buy that, I thought a picture was enough. Heh.
Toy Story picture spot.
This Mickey ice cream sandwich is definitly non-existent in Singapore !!!!
The weather there was cold, but not windy. There's slight sunshine though. Fantastic weather for enjoying ice cream. Heh.
Other shots of Disneyland (:
Shots of the White Holiday Parade.
I missed this parade 'cos I was queuing up for the Space Mountian ride - my dad took these pictures. Omfg the wait took my sister and I like 90 minutes, just to sit for a ~7mins ride. The amount of people @ Disneyland Tokyo was simply enormous, gigantic, ginormous, BOOMZ. THERE ARE PEOPLE EVERYWHERE. Guess how many rides we took? 2. Space Mountain and some stimulator ride. There were queues EVERYWHERE. Omg I miss HK now - we took Space Mountain 6 times WITHOUT having to queue AT ALL. That's how much people there are in Disneyland Tokyo. O.O
Tokyo's Disneyland Band.
I thought HK Disneyland Band sounded better. 'Cos for Tokyo's DL one the trumpets were too overpowering. Couldn't really hear the melody coming from the trombones and saxes. They were very in tune though ^^
That picture with my sis was when we were going up this travellator to join another queue for Space Mountain.
Now that I think of it, I thought that HK's Space Mountain was more thrilling then Tokyo's. Maybe 'cos HK's roller coaster went faster. More shiok. Ahahahaha.
That's the Sleeping Beauty Castle. Significantly much larger than HK's Cinderella's Castle.
The castle was located in the middle of Disneyland itself, so you can actually see at least the tip of it from anywhere. That's how big it is.
I think if Singapore ever had its own Disneyland the Beauty&TheBeast Castle (most probrably 'cos I like Belle) would be puny. Considering the fact that HK's one is already considered small. Hmm.
I look like a giant here !!!! Muhahahahahahaha :D
Maybe I'll split the trip into 4 entries. There's still Mount Fuji and Universal Studios!!! :S
